RE: Overview of the Agency Audit Process

As title industry trends continue to evolve, especially escrow related risks, we reached out to Cathy Ceci, our Agency Audit Director, to discuss how we could best support our agents. In a continuing focus on assisting our agents with controls and best practices within their organization, we have created a series of audit and escrow highlights for your consideration. Our first topic is an Overview of the Agency Audit Process.

Supporting agents in managing and minimizing areas of risk is a duty of utmost importance to FNF. Our FNF Audit program is designed to assist you, our agents, in safeguarding your escrow accounts and provide guidance in best practices. The attached is an overview of what an agent may expect from the Agency Audit process, which involves various aspects of the real estate loan closing process.

We encourage you to review these documents and share with your accounting and escrow team and anyone else in your organization who could benefit from the information. Please feel free to reach out to Sarah Lambert, Regional Quality Assurance Manager at sarah.lambert@fnf.com. She is happy to address any specific questions you may have.
